Algemene aankoopvoorwaarden – Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs

Except for explicit and written deviation by the parties, the terms and conditions mentioned below apply to all services entrusted to vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs. All verbal or written agreements are superseded by these general terms and conditions. Unless formally confirmed by vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs, these general terms and conditions take precedence over any purchase conditions of the client, even when these have not been explicitly rejected by vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs.

Art. 1 Delivery terms

vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs will take the greatest possible care when receiving and executing orders of products. Orders will be processed upon receipt of payment.

Ticket orders will be digitally forwarded by email to the customer's specified email address.

Tickets purchased online for the event Scheldeland in Steam must be validated at the ticket office before they count as tickets.

Please note that vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs is not responsible for loss, damage and theft by post.

Art. 2 Payment options

Payments are possible via online payment services (Bancontact, KBC, etc.). In case of purchase of books, it is also possible to pay cash on the spot at the station of Baasrode-Noord upon collection

The ordered products will be shipped only after receipt of your payment.

Art. 3 Legal guarantee

vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs assures that the product is in good condition and (thus) works. If this is not the case, the customer is entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

The buyer is supposed to take delivery and check the goods immediately.

All complaints regarding the services provided must be communicated by the customer to vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs within a period of 14 days after the delivery or purchase in the shop.

Complaints formulated outside the period mentioned in this article shall in no case give rise to any liability on the part of vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs.

If no complaint was received within this 14-day period, it shall have the effect that the buyer has accepted the delivered goods in full and in their entirety.

Art. 4 Right of withdrawal

Tickets for events (Scheldeland in Steam, Degustation rides, Sinterklaas rides, etc.) can only be revoked and refunded if the request is made at least 7 days before the event.

Tickets for regular ride days (Sundays from July to September) can only be revoked and refunded if the request is made no later than 1 day before the date on the ticket.

Tickets for bookings of communion photos can only be revoked and refunded if the request is made no later than 7 days before the booking.

Physical items (in condition as delivered) can be returned within 14 days. Please note: It must be delivered to us on the 14th day. We count from when the parcel was delivered or when it is ready for collection.

If we receive your return within 14 days, we will refund the amount (excluding shipping costs). Returns after 14 days will not be accepted.

Shipping costs for returns are at your own expense. Returns are free of charge at Baasrode-North railway station on Saturdays between 14:00-17:00.

Market Practices and Consumer Protection Act - 6/4/2010:

In any distance contract, the consumer has a period of 14 calendar days in which to withdraw from the contract. He may exercise this right without payment of any penalty and without giving any reason.

Consumers may only be charged the direct costs of returning the goods for exercising their right of withdrawal.

For the exercise of this right, the period starts from the day after delivery to the consumer.

vzw Stoomtrein Dendermonde-Puurs may at any time change these general terms and conditions and the specifications of its services as well as its prices. New prices are only applicable from orders following these modifications. Any dispute falling under the application of these general terms and conditions will be settled according to the rules of Belgian law. All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the seller's domicile.
