Les locomotives de HSP touchaient des pays aussi lointains que le Br\u00e9sil. Cette locomotive a \u00e9t\u00e9 command\u00e9e par \" Scheerders Van Kerckhove \" pour desservir leur zone industrielle. L'entreprise vendait principalement des mat\u00e9riaux de construction et disposait d'une grande cour o\u00f9 diverses marchandises devaient \u00eatre transport\u00e9es d'un c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00e0 l'autre au cours des nombreux processus de production qui s'y d\u00e9roulaient. De 1922 aux ann\u00e9es 1960, notre locomotive a conduit de lourds trains de ciment d'un bout \u00e0 l'autre. Un wagon de ciment est toujours conserv\u00e9 \u00e0 SDP. Dans les ann\u00e9es 1960, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 immobilis\u00e9e en raison d'une fuite dans la chaudi\u00e8re \u00e0 vapeur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sa deuxi\u00e8me vie n'a commenc\u00e9 que dans les ann\u00e9es 1980, lorsqu'elle est arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 la gare de Baasrode, alors encore dans un triste \u00e9tat apr\u00e8s les ann\u00e9es pass\u00e9es \u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur. Cependant, ses premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de d\u00e9tention n'ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 le remerciement qu'elle m\u00e9ritait apr\u00e8s des ann\u00e9es de travail. Elle a langui jusqu'en 2007, lorsque l'association a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 obtenir une subvention du gouvernement flamand. Cette subvention a permis \u00e0 Stoomtrein Dendermonde Puurs d'obtenir les moyens financiers n\u00e9cessaires pour r\u00e9nover HSP 1378 de fond en comble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 presque enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9mont\u00e9 pour que chaque pi\u00e8ce puisse \u00eatre trait\u00e9e. Les ann\u00e9es de rouille et de salet\u00e9 ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enlev\u00e9es en l'espace de trois ans. Les travaux sur la chaudi\u00e8re ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prioritaires, et les capacit\u00e9s en charbon et en eau ont \u00e9t\u00e9 augment\u00e9es afin de pouvoir parcourir l'ensemble du trajet du Chemin de fer du mus\u00e9e 52 sans avoir \u00e0 refaire le plein d'eau et de charbon \u00e0 mi-parcours. On remarque donc que la cabine est devenue plus grande apr\u00e8s la restauration. En outre, une pompe \u00e0 vapeur a d\u00fb \u00eatre install\u00e9e, ce qui est une obligation l\u00e9gale pour faire circuler un train de voyageurs. Lors de l'\u00e9dition 2010 de \"Scheldeland in Steam\", la HSP 1378 a roul\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois pour le grand public avec un d\u00f4me peint la veille et des tenders dont les d\u00e9tails n'\u00e9taient pas encore termin\u00e9s. Depuis lors, nos b\u00e9n\u00e9voles travaillent d'arrache-pied, ann\u00e9e apr\u00e8s ann\u00e9e, pour la maintenir en service. En 2022, nous avons c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 son 100e anniversaire avec une \u00e9dition sp\u00e9ciale de Scheldeland in Steam. Elle a \u00e9galement d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 locomotive invit\u00e9e au festival de la vapeur de \"Stoomtrein Maldegem Eeklo\" et au festival de la vapeur du \"Chemin de Fer du Bocq\"<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\"
